I had the honor to fly out to the beautiful island of Grenada for an Weider appearance. The promoters and officials flew me in first class and treated me nothing less than first class for the whole 5 days I was there.
It was the Central Carribean Bodybuilding Championship where the overall recieves his procard. Other pros recieveing their procard from there where Darrem Charles, Desmond Milller just to name a couple.
I had a blast and made alot of friends and connections to other Carribean islands. My plan for next year is to do a Carribean tour and visit as many island as possible.
The show was great and I had no idea they had so many athletes males and females. The place was packed with people from all over the island even that most of them never even been in a gym before but they all came out to support the show and went nuts.
This was one of the guestposing for me to remember forever!

Hey everybody, Thank's again for all the support throughout the entire Mr. Olympia Weekend. It is hard to believe it has come and gone. Just got back from Cali from several photo shoots and also sat in the audience of Dancing with the Stars to cheer on Chuck Liddell. Now it's back to guest posing every weekend. I am currently in Utah for a few appearances and then back to Vegas to shoot My NEW DVD. It is going to be more training oriented and will be available on my website soon. We are also Launching a new T3AM CUTLER apparel line as well as Swollen Monkey gear. Things are crazy right now but I am already back to training and focusing on next year. My weight is over 285lbs now and I am still real lean. Don't forget to check out my website at www.jaycutler.com.

I feel I am in the best shape of my life and only have to wait a few more hours now to reveal my new physique. It should be one of the most exciting shows in Olympia history.
Finished my 2 day shoot and all went great. I had alot of fun shooting with Kevin Horton who is an outstanding photographer. I usually don't do photo shoots when I'm in my carb depleting phase since this is when I look the worst but this time it's all a little different working with George really showed me that it is possible for me to look like I usually do a few weeks out from a show. Even being depleted with less than 70g of carbs a day for 5 days I'm still somewhat big and full and from now on it's just a matter of putting a bit of carbs back in starting tomorrow and dropping some water which I will totallly leave up to George. He proved to me a few times this year that he knows how to get me in shape and dial me in the final days before the show.
I feel ready and I really can't wait to display my physique come Friday and Saturday. I will post a sneak peak for you the fans to see what DJ is bringing to Vegas

today I finished the first of my 2 day photo shoot for flex magazine. Kevin Horton arrived here in Phoenix last night and after a great dinner that my wife prepared for him and his wife we all sat together an watched the UFC fights on my 145"screen.
Then this morning it was off to the gym where I trained Chest and Biceps and Kevin took pictues as it happend. Kevin knows me since 2000 and he told me that this is the best, biggest and hardest he has ever seen me this close to a show kind of like my 2 weeks out pics in the past. I'm depleting since Friday and I will probably stay on low carbs til Wednesday before I put higher carbs back in my system.
I feel and look like I'm at my best and I'm sure it can only get better come Friday night prejudging. We will shoot again tomorrow and then I will get everything ready to drive to Vegas early Wednesday morning
Stay tuned for more updates from now all the way up to Saturday night.

I can feel the Vegas heat. The 2009 Mr. Olympia. Like we all know this years O will be one for the ages. I feel blessed and privileged to be part of something of this magnitude.

The following words have a great meaning in my life, Blood, Sweat, Tears…Conceive, Believe, Achieve and Desire. I think about these words on a daily basis because it reminds me of how larger than life this sport really is, how careful we have to be in order to look almost perfect on one night, it’s truly a one of kind feeling. For me it’s all about Desire and the Belief that you put out into all this. The eating, training, the cardio sessions, everything. You got to believe this years O. is going to be incredible, so will I.

I Desire that Sandow and I Believe I’m going to Achieve it.

Thank you to all my fans for the support I feel good…No, wait…I feel great at this point, I decided to give you the fans a little opportunity to see how the X-man is evolving bigger than ever, I don’t want to give too much away but I believe that the we are here for the fans, so for all the fans here’s my latest video, watch new NEVER BEFORE SEEN FOOTAGE at the end… See if you catch me in there, watching the flex blog… Told you all, it’s all me baby!!!

"I've been waiting for this moment, all my life, oh lord" -Phil Collins

I'm training for the biggest moment of my life...a dream I never though possible, until last year! I have been blessed to start my pro career competing with some of the best bodybuilders in history, Flex Wheeler and Chris Cormier to name a few. This year's line-up will definitely go down as one of the best in history and I'm honored to be competing with some of the best to defend my title. I'm in the final days of feeling tired and ready to get it over with, I can't believe how fast time has passed! I am excited that my family will be there and my closest friends. I want to take this moment to thank all my fans for their support and all the emails wishing me good luck. I am focused and feeling good. Taking a year off has allowed my body to respond great to my preparation this year. I've also made sure to stay on top of injury prevention like always and get my massages twice a week and weekly adjustments. It's amazing what preventative care can do. I always arrive in Vegas a week early to be able to relax and stay focused. It's nice to have time to myself amidst the madness!
Well, that is it for now. Like Phil Collins sang, "I've been waiting for this moment all my life"! But I prefer the remix with Tupac! LOL!

Peace out for now and God Bless!

less than 2 weeks to go and I can already see that I'm better than I was the previous 4 shows I already did this year.
It seems that George knows my body better than I know myself, where I would've dropped some more carbs already he tells me to keep them in for now and and after sending him pictures from 2 days ago he tells me to drop the cardio to only one 20 minute session a day.
I feel so good that it's almost scaring me a bit cause I usually never feel this energetic so close to a show but I guess thats just the way it is if you do everything right.
I will do my Flex photo shoots this coming next Sunday and Monday right here in Phoenix, Arizona at Fitness1 gym on Union Hills and 35th Ave. I'm glad the flex staff is sending Kevin Horton out here to shoot me so I don't have to travel this close to the Olympia.
I decided to drive into Vegas very early Wednesday morning so I have enough time to check in and do some groccerie shopping before all the interviews and athletes meetings.
I am really looking forward to the show and believe me when I say this but you will be in for a treat!!!!!

Congrats to Gustavo Badell and James Lewis for winning the Atlantic City pro show last night!!!

About two weeks from today I’ll be on stage at the O, and I’m still 295-296
pounds. Felt like I got hit by a car when I woke up this morning because of
all the stuff we did at the FLEX photo shoot yesterday – but it was worth it
because we got some really cool stuff. We ended up doing traps, back,
shoulders, bi’s and tri’s, and today we did quads, hams, glutes and abs.
That’s a lot of work!

So I’m going to fly home tonight, wake up in the morning at 6 a.m. and get
back on the stairmill. We’re also going to tighten the diet to straight fish
and veggies, potatoes and rice, fish and greens -- and water. Carbs will be
minimal.

Two weeks out and I’m 296 pounds. Looking forward to going home and
buckling down. This is where I want to be right now. In my wildest fantasy I
was in the 290s heading into the Olympia, and I’m on par to do that. Still
don’t know if it will happen or not. I’ve been trying to be 290 for the past
two and a half years. Something always goes wrong at the end. I haven’t been
in the 290s this far out though. 288 is the heaviest I’ve been. I’ve only
eating twice today right now, so really I’m two meals away from 300
pounds.

Mentally, I’ve never been this focused. I don’t want to sound crazy, but in
all honesty, this is the first year I’ve been a bodybuilder 100 percent. I’m
blessed genetically. I will admit that as far as being lean goes. I’m not
talking about contest. I’m talking about walking around – it’s not that hard
for me to keep a decent amount of body fat and I’ve used that as a crutch in
the past. This year, I didn’t bank on my genetics. I did the work. I ate the
meals. I did the cardio. I lifted the weights. The results speak for
themselves.

I literally started my diet (my diet-diet) on August 15, and that’s not even
been a month yet. I started preparing for the Olympia on July 15, but the
first four weeks I was eating whatever. I’m in my fifth week of hardcore
dieting. Normally us pros diet 10-12 weeks. I’m not worn out. I’m eating
more than 3,000 calories per day and 4,000 on high days. I’m not hungry, but
I’m hungry for the Olympia.

X.

*Editors' note: There was an error in this entry that has been corrected but should be noted. Toney had only eaten twice at that point in the day, and a typo stated he was only eating two meals per day. That is erroneous. Toney eats every two to three hours.

Hey everybody! Just wanted to give you an update on my progress. I am currently in the middle of a two day shoot with Muscletech. We shot back training at Gold's yesterday, and as usual, it was a tough workout. I am getting drier by the day as I cut back a little on some of my salt intake. I am now seeing what I am going to look like on stage in just over two weeks. The fans will see a much improved Jay Cutler as my waist has gotten smaller which makes my back and legs appear to be larger. It will be an interesting show and I am excited to be part of it. Check out some of my new clothing and video's available at jaycutler.com. I have a new shirt that I will be unveiling at the Olympia. I'd like to thank the fans for all the support they have given over the years. It truly keeps me going!
