What are the Olympians up to these days?
Since we are just a little bit passed the half year mark as far as the Olympia goes, the Flex team thought about giving you an update of what our Olympia Champions are up to right now, what are their plans and what projects have they been working on. We will start our series with non other than Multi Olympia winner and current fitness Champ Adela Garcia.

Ronnie & Jay Hit GNC Headquarters

Reigning Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler and eight-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman treated Pittsburgh bodybuilding fans to an autograph session today. Jay and Ronnie walked into the GNC, located below the corporate headquarters, and were greeted by a long line of eager fans. The two signed autographs and posed for photos from 11:30am until around 1pm.

Kevin "Full Blown" Levrone NEW MOVIE "I AM"

Kevin Levrone stopped by Jay Cutler's Max Muscle in Venice to say hello and to fill us in on his new movie "I am" now in Post production. He co stars alongside Kiko Ellsworth and Ginny Jones.
Kevin plays the character of "Chaos Salaam." The movie I AM (2008) is "the story of a young man who has always been everything to everyone. Marvin “The Great” Pearl is a man who is truly blessed in life and succeeds in everything he pursues; class president, valedictorian and star athlete turned global icon. He is in the midst of beginning his political career when through personal tragedy, or perhaps divine intervention, he finds that he is losing the most important thing in his life. It also happens to be the one thing in this world that he cannot control through his own power. And with the two most powerful words on the planet, I AM, Marvin is confronted with the decision of his life... and death!"

GUNTER UPDATE!

Yesterday, the gentle giant Gunter Schlierkamp came by Jay Cutler's Max Muscle to tell me about his new venture, "Flexsolate" It is a different kind of straps that helps isolate a certain bodypart as you train by taking the conventional grip out of the movement giving a better and more natural range of motion. Gunter swears by the straps and has been using them since 2005. He came in with his partner, a very nice man by the name of Jerry McGowan.
The Flexsolate straps are even coming with a cd to tell you about all the exercises that can be performed with them. You can looked them up online at www.flexsolate.com

DJ's NEW HOUSE IN PHOENIX, ARIZONA

Dennis called us recently telling us that he had moved into a new house in Phoenix, Arizona.
DJ was cool enough to send us some pics from his move.
The house is 3800sqf home in Phoenix with a nice big peppletech diving pool and a great outdoor spa with built in satelite radio and cd.
A very good friend who owns his own moving company Fred Behr who is a NPC competitor and is now getting ready for the Masters Nationals helping moving Dennis' s stuff. Also helping out was DJ's training partner Frank Nezdoba who is in prep for the USA in Vegas.

MR. OLYMPIA' S THERAPY!

There has been a lot of talk about Jay's bicep or leg and he's always been up front and honest about admitting that he's been having some problems with both due to tendonitis, etc...
He has been doing massage therapy for a long time and recently, his good friend Derik Farnsworth refered him to his guy, telling Jay "My guy is the best!" Well as you probably know, everyone says their guy is the best but in this case, it happenned to be true.
Jeffrey Besser owner of Body Dynamix Hollistic Therapy in Santee (San Diego) has been helping many IFBB Pro bodybuilders over the years such as Derik Farnsworth, Nasser El Sonbaty, Garrett Downing and now Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler has just been added to the list.
Jeff seems to be able to pin point whatever problem is existing and with a very accute precision work on the trouble area to make it all better. Of course it is very painful at times but hey! You got to suffer to be beautiful as they say right?
Jay wanted to document his last session to show his fans that he has nothing to hide, acknowledges his problems and addresses them by taking care of biz while letting you guys see in the process.

JAY CUTLER'S 2ND TRAINING CAMP FOR CHARITY!

On Friday, April 18th, 2008, Jay held his second training camp for charity in the Mecca of bodybuilding, Venice, Ca at Gold's gym Venice. 5 lucky campers came from as far as Toronto, Canada to attend and this time, FLEX was there to document the entire event so you lucky members will be able to view it on the video section of FlexOnline. Keep checking the site for the video to come out soon.

Here's a few more pics of the visit of Hulk Hogan in the Mecca.

I usually never get in the shot but Hulk and Eric insisted so I had to do it, sorry!! LOL!!

Monica Brant's F.E.M Camps!

For a while now Fitness and Figure Icon Monica Brant and her partner Lynda have been organizing their F.E.M Camps for the aspiring figure competitors, Monica was nice enough to document her camps and send Flex some information about them, here's what she wrote.

*Camps have anywhere from 15-30 ladies each

*We have 3-5 camps per year. For 2008, we have (4) planned as of March 25

*Camps started officially back in 2004

The F.E.M. Camps are hosted by Me (Monica

These camps are great for any gal -at any age & any fitness level-
interested in learning more about healthy living, proper nutrition,

BIG RON'S WIFE AND HER NEW RIDE.

A few weeks ago we posted pics of Jay's Porshe and a little story about Ronnie Coleman calling Jay Cutler because he wanted to make sure those cars dont have problems like he heard they do (i.e. mechanical problems)
and he ended up buying one to his wife simply because she loves this car! "spoiled Mrs. Coleman . Well today, as a little follow up, we are showing you the new wheels of Ron's wife. Thanks to the Colemans for sending the pic.

BRANDON CURRY. These shots were taken two weeks ago. Here's what Curry had to say when we commented on how much wider his back looked at the USAs and Nationals in 2007.

"I was only about 228 in those photos about two weeks ago, but currently 232 or so and still climbing. I've got 8 more weeks until I start dieting. I got a friend of mine who took some shots with his phone the yesterday so I will try to retrieve those."
